Cliff Jumping and Marketing

How would you rate the level of danger when jumping off a cliff into the ocean, and would you do it? I’m guessing there aren’t a lot of you who would agree to jump, but there are those crazy few!

So what does your marketing have to do with cliff jumping into oceans?

Typically when business is slow, your team puts on the marketing and sales hat to figure out how to increase business and revenue. When business picks up, the production and manager hat goes on.

But when it comes to your marketing, one of the hats has to stay on all the times. You can’t take off your marketing hat when business is good and things are easy.

If you keep jumping off that cliff, eventually you may miscalculate the tide and hit the rocks below.
